In one of the tightest games of the season, the Cape Breton County #2 Islanders won an epic Chamionship Game over The Glace Bay Miners #2, in U18C CB Cup Action.

Jaden Boutilier open the Scoring for the Miners in the first Period, and that held up until Early in the 3rd When Thomas Morrison Tied the game with the Islanders 1st on the Day.

Brennan Reid Put Glace Bay ahead for the second time with just over 2 minutes remaining in the game, this was thought to be the winner but with 1 second remaining Nathan Trimm tied it up pushing the game to Sudden death overtime.

In the Overtime Period Corey Toney became the Hero for the Islanders with the Championship Clincher.

Both Goalies fought valiantly in a game where only 3 minor penalties were called between the teams. But Bradley MacNeil-Burke proved to be 1 more shot fortunate than Emily O'Neill in Goal

Congrats to the Players on Both teams for a great season, and providing your families and friends some great years. Some of you are in your last season but will remember all the friends you've made along the way.. Cheers to you all!!
