This past weekend, 6 Teams were crowned CB Cup Champions for the 2023-24 season.

All divisions provided a multitude of exciting games in the Round Robin as well as the playoff rounds.

First we start with U11B, In which the New Waterford Sharks went undefeated in the Round Robin, and would go on to defeat the County Islanders by a score of 5-2 to take home the cup.

In U11A, The Sydney Steelers came out on top of the 3 team league with a 4-3 victory over the County Islanders.    Both Sydney and New Waterford will now advance to the next round to try and earn their way in to The NS U11 Day of Champions for their respective divisions.

 In U13C the Cheticamp Trailriders took an undefeated record into the final where they finished their undefeated weekend with thrilling 5-4 come from behind victory against a very game Baddeck Bobcats team.

In the U13A division the Glace Bay Miners avenged a 5-2 loss to the County Islanders, by defeating them in the finals 3-0. The Miners now proceed to the next challenge on their way to attemp to become Provincial Champs.

Glace Bay took home their 2nd Cup Championship of the weekend in the U15A division. The Miners were undefeated for the weekend finishing off the final game by defeating the New Waterford Sharks by a score of 6-3. Glace Bay moves on to the next round in their quest for provincial glory.

And the final Cup of the weekend saw a super competitive final in the U18C Division. The County#2 Islanders needed a shootout to get by the Sydney Steelers. The 3-2 victory gave the Islanders the well deserved Cup victory.
